People running for Move4Transplant

Please join us this September to walk, run or bike in your Provincial Teams for a fun competition to help raise funds for your Canadian Transplant Association. Come get to know your transplant community and see if together we can traverse 22,000 kilometres from coast to coast across Canada.

As the summer comes to a close, the Transplant Trot is an opportunity to challenge yourself physically while getting to know your fellow community members. Since we are spread from coast to coast, the Transplant Trot provides us the opportunity to learn more about each other, our stories and the lives that transplant has touched. We celebrate the thousands of transplant recipients, donors, donor families and all the caretakers, doctors, nurses and programs in this country that have contributed to hundreds of extra years of life, that would not otherwise have been possible without the power or organ donation.

During the Trot, participants will move their share of 22,000 kms improving your health and fitness, while celebrating with the Canadian Transplant  community. For this year’s Transplant Trot we’ll go back to the original format of Provincially set up teams. You will contribute your KMs to that provincial team and together see which province can walk, run or ride the furthest in 30 days and/or can raise the most funds. But together we will all be trying to walk, run or bike the 22,000 kms it takes to follow the Great Canadian Trail from coast to coast.

Instructions for participation:
1. Register for the Transplant Trot with the button below.
2. Create or join your team, according to the province where you live.
3. Keep track using your steps on your phone or connect using Strava app directly (see FAQs).
4. ‘Share’ from your profile page and encourage people to cheer you on by ‘buying’ virtual rewards or motivators.

From Sep 1-30th let's see which province can earn the most kilometres. Together, let's see if we can all make it across the country, from coast to coast, following the 22,000km trail system.

Your involvement and story is important and touches the lives of the people in our transplant community, including the National and World Transplant Games.  During our walk, Sep 9-16 is Living Donation week, please share your stories on facebook and instagram with your activities!  THANK YOU!

We  look forward to seeing you out there, virtually! The Canadian Transplant Association is proud of our community and can't wait to see your photos and learn more about your stories. Thank you for sharing your transplant journeys with us!

Thanks for choosing Move2Help!
We're very proud of it.

This platform was designed for people who want to contribute to issues they care about, whether they're doing the moving or showing support. We wanted to build a fundraising application that connected sponsors with participants, and donations to goals achieved. Every gift, no matter how small, makes an impact and should be celebrated.
