How to Participate
What your gift supports

Family
We are seeing positive impacts to the families in Kalulu Village and those surrounding our Mitongwe Woodland Reserve. There are Mom and Baby/Toddler programs, Young Warriors and Youth Clubs, sports clubs and soccer league, and literacy and library classes. Their harvest yields are improving creating new
opportunity for additional income, with our Mitongwe Reserve adding employment and vocational training to dozens of locals. Your donations support all of these, plus fuel efficient stoves and emergency feedings.

Farming
Our excitement with Agroforestry and Foundations for Farming training continues to “grow”. Biodiversity is the key, planting different crops with each other, creating a “togetherness” that makes the difference, like your help makes the difference.
Your Moving4Malawi fundraising donations are the catalyst that allows our Teams to give training and support and to start developing community programs. The result to our farming families is improved practices that increase soil health and food production, added family income due to excess crops or business opportunities, access to quality seeds, rainwater harvesting infrastructure, and further agroforestry training.

Feeding
With farmers growing soybeans and improving their livelihood, we are feeding soymilk to the children in Kalulu Village. The youth are part of the team and are producing milk and soy burgers for the children, mainly from beans we purchase
from these farmers.
Benefits are also seen in our ministry to elderly people. “Agogos” or grandparents have no support systems, most are unable to grow enough food for themselves, yet are caring for numerous grandchildren. We come alongside our Agogos with provisions when necessary. This year, donations will be used to develop community gardens that will produce food year-round, will be maintained by the local youth who will benefit from the training, from this we will share the food in
the hunger season with those in need.

Faith
Our presence in Malawi brings our faith and hope into everything we do. The truth of God’s love for us and others is incorporated into the life skills training and mentoring that happen constantly. There is Children’s Sunday School, Children’s and Youth programs, Sports Camps and events, Worship Team involvement during sports games, Leadership training for the local Pastors and Evangelism Events that occur because of your donations to our Teams.
